And whatever team signs him or picks him up,

they're going to have to deal with this mess.

And it really is just an ugly situation for everybody involved.

But I also understand the Niners, and they're trying to hold on to it at least so they can get something out of this.

This is a former first-round pick they've invested millions upon millions in, and everything is getting shredded right underneath their noses because of the way Brandon Ayuk has acted.

The problem that they have is they really don't have that much to sell.

In terms of some of the contracts, the only two viable pieces, Seren, I see that San Francisco could look to move.

is Robbie Ray, who's going to become a free agent after this year.

It's the remainder of his $25 million deal this year.

Then he becomes an unrestricted free agent.

And the other one is Louisa Rice, who's been spectacular for the Giants this year.

He's not the reason this team stinks.

And he has played great.

If you look at his war rating, it's one of the best in baseball.

And he's on a one year, 12 million dollar contract.

Now, the way he has played, I honestly think San Francisco would like to lock him up long term because batting champions don't just fall off trees.

And he's a multiple time batting champ.

And those are the only two attractive pieces that they have.

Okay, maybe some minor pieces like out of the bullpen.

But the bullpen has been horrific for the Giants, and one of the reasons they're in this mess.
