Back in 815, the Archbishop Abagard of Lyons described in his writing the people of Magonia, quote, people whose ships come in through the clouds.
Now, obviously, this sounds like it could be a metaphor or just some imaginative poetry.
But he went on to say that at one point, four of them were captured and brought forward to be stoned to death, which is
Pretty realistic, I assume that is how humans would treat aliens if they were actually discovered on Earth.
It's just, we're an angry little species, you know?
But I thought this was worth including because, one, we always love a bit of ancient alien history.
We love to see UFO stories through art and literature as early as the 1800s.
Sorry, as early as the 800s.
But do I have to point something else out?
Four little guys were captured?
Did they come out of an orb?
Maybe four little guys have been visiting France for longer than we think.
Maybe it sounds like they've been coming for thousands of years, but for them, that's just every intergalactic summer break.
