Rory's old boys the Cork contingent beat Tipperary and Turles so it wasn't the perfect scenario actually United beating Chelsea was another good result for Liverpool it's very hard to kind of and the Irish women and the Irish women lads

Yeah, very hard to, as a Liverpool fan, hoping United will win a game.

But it was on Saturday night.

And of course, the Irish women's team as well and the under-21s.

So they were good results.

It was a mad sporting weekend.

There was loads of other sport on as well, of course.

Yeah, I think there's players that have certainly underperformed this year and there's an argument to say that

there needs to be a more ruthless approach and the squad needs to be stronger.

You cannot just, and I guess Dave's point there, you cannot just, obviously if guys are contracted, you cannot just kind of rip up contracts and dismiss players and stuff like that.

And it sounds like a very ruthless approach, but...

the quality needs to be better and the form of players needs to be better.

And I noticed from when I was a player, particularly in the last couple of years I had, you have to play at a high level to, you know, my last three, two or three, three, I think, or one year contracts, which is you're on edge all the time.
