I think I managed to find a loophole, which is to move to Australia.
That's how I push through it, is that New Zealand comedians are like, New Zealand comedy is not that funny.
And then in Australia, they're like, oh, we're Australian.
No, we don't like Australian comedy.
And then I come, I'm like, well, I'm a New Zealander.
And they're like, oh, well, you're from overseas.
We'll be nice to you.
No way.
That's so funny.
Yeah.
And I wish I could say it's the same for Australians in New Zealand, but unfortunately, no.
Yeah.
Unfortunately, Australians also cop tall poppy syndrome from New Zealanders because we're so bitter about stupid shit like rugby.
We go like, oh, we hate the Wallabies.
We hate Australia.
And you can't come over here and do comedy.
We hate you.
And so whenever I come here and I feel embraced, I almost feel guilty because I'm like â
It's not like it's an exchange.
It's not like if I do work here, I can't be like, well, you should go to New Zealand.
