So, you know, even when these young guys call me OG or unk and this and that or people like yourself, you know, you're younger than me.
And I see you as a mentor because I feel like the maturity and the things that I saw, I was like, you know what?
I can learn a lot and I can bring something.
See, mentorship is something that, you know what I'm saying?
I said, Mick and I, there's a whole bunch of stuff that he probably knows, but there's also things he does not know about me that we can collaborate and I'll take his lead and we'll do something fantastic.
You know what I mean?
And so, you know, I like the whole idea.
The mentorship meant something totally to me at 50 than it did at 25.
Yeah.
No, no.
You need that ear.
Somebody who understands and can kind of like really put themselves because they've been around you.
So they know the ebbs and flows of how you move.
And if you have an issue with something, if you're somebody, especially someone who's very lighthearted most of the time and you're trying to bring light to other people, sometimes when you're down, that person can see through it and you need that.
You know, I've had someone reach out to me recently because I've changed a lot and I'm not happy about it, honestly.
You know, part of it is like, OK, I'm maturing.
This is what I wanted.
You know what I mean?
All through my life, because being a comedian, there's a sense of silly or jovialness that that just kind of comes along with it.
Everybody's like, oh, he's a comic.
