It's getting to know the offense first, and then it's those two guys, Caleb and Garrett, getting to know each other in a way that allows them to communicate and see things similarly.
So that doesn't just happen.
You don't just plant the seed on April 20th and it just sprouts.
These guys are going to have to water that seed.
They're going to have to tend to it.
And they're going to have to figure out a way to bring that relationship to life so that it produces results similar to what Caleb and Drew got last year.
And so that's going to be a process that's going to be worth watching here in the next four or five months.
I think I could speak for Dan Weider, our guest from The Athletic and The Score, in saying that we had a blast.
Last week we did a live edition of Take the North.
That's right.
And the Blue Cross Blue Shield Studios had a packed house, a very engaged crowd.
And one of the first things that you pointed out, Dan, was that it did โ like we did one of these last year and it was very enthusiastic, but it was kind of more like arms folded.
All right, how are you guys going to fix this team for everybody?
This year after an 11-win season, it's like people are on the edge of their seats and
and they're enthusiastic, and the expectation felt real in that room.
Did it not, Weedman?
There's no question, and that's what you want to feel.
And one of the things that we talked to Cole Komet about this morning was just the experience of hosting two playoff games in January and feeling that.
at the highest level, that buzz, that energy, that sort of civic pride that we all know was there.
