And I think that will be the telltale sign of who might be comfortable working with Billy Donovan in a power structure in which Billy Donovan would have as much, if not more power than them.

So that's a wait-and-see thing.

He understands what an awkward situation it is that...

whomever the GM or the new president of basketball operations are, if it's a two-man job or whatever, he's got to understand that it's a little bit weird that they came out and said that you're stuck with this head coach.

I mean, isn't it just logical and sensible that Billy would get that unless he has accepted more power, which it certainly didn't sound like he had been interested in.

When he did his post-game press conference, the last one after the loss to the Mavericks, he said he understood how front offices usually work, how structures usually work.

So I think it put him in an awkward spot in that moment because he wasn't sure what he wanted to do.

Now, if he's decided what he wants to do going forward, I think it's a little more ironclad as far as his role with the Bulls because ain't nobody from inside the Bulls firing him or telling him to walk away.

That is true.

I guess the only familiar name to me really is Matt Lloyd, who used to work with the Bulls organization.

I kind of knew him and corresponded with him when he was with Bulls PR, and I was covering Bulls games eons ago.

Don't know much about what he's all about as it pertains to personnel and his philosophy and all of that, but that is an interesting name for sure.
