What did the White Sox sweep of the lowly New York Mets mean to you, Russ?

Cubs, but yes.

I think the Cubs sweep of the Mets...

the Cubs did what good baseball teams should do.

And if you're a team like the Cubs...

and you're playing good baseball.

Going into yesterday, they'd won four of their last five, or they'd won four straight, five of their last six, and you have a team in the New York Mets that is reeling.

I think that might be underselling it.

They had just come off of 10 consecutive losses.

You could make it 11 and put your foot on their neck, and that's exactly what the Cubs did.

And even going to that ninth inning, a good team should be able to find a way to beat a bad team, and the Mets have proven

So far this season, they are not a good team.

They are a bad team.

And all it takes is an Ian Happ single.
