We've never said it out loud.

It was the last game.

It was like double elimination.

And if we lost that game, our whole season was over.

And I had to sit on the bench in agony and watch it happen.

And I was carried to the car and taken to the hospital.

I literally thought I had broken my leg.

And they're like,

uh yeah i think you pulled your hamstring a little but like we did a bunch of x-rays like there's no bone damage or anything it'll be fine and i was like well am i getting crutches and they're like uh if you want i guess if you want i was like well i can't walk out of here which definitely could have walked out of there and i was a pride and i think i was on crutches for two weeks yeah yeah and but when i show back about that because we had to go to myrtle beach for the tournament so it was like we're all staying in a hotel

So the girls team.

What was it like when your parents are like writing these checks to like get the team there?

I think they knew that it was the pinnacle of my athletic career.

Right.

So they were like, like, I was a star of the team, man.

I was doing moves you hadn't even thought of.

Everyone's like, wait, can you imagine you're doing it?

The coach is like, in my wildest dreams.

They're up by 80, but he's pissed because you came up with a move that no one's thought of.

I invented the Eurostep, I think.
