But, yeah, it's that weird red clay.
And it all used to be part of the Dole Pineapple Plantation.
So when you're around there, one of the things you notice is, like, there's layers of dirt.
But then there's, like, almost looks like plastic bag underneath it, like a hefty bag.
I guess they had a layer of like that kind of whatever the fuck a hefty bag is made out of, whatever that plastic is.
And then the dirt was on top of that somehow.
And then the pineapples would grow up through it.
But it's disconcerting because it doesn't feel like nature.
