I think Conor is so singularly focused on winning that he probably steps on some toes and he probably can be a bit of a battering ram at times with his frustrations and stuff.

It doesn't necessarily make him a bad captain.

He leads by sheer force of will on the ice, right?

And I think there's more to being a captain than...

You know, always doing and saying the exact right thing in the media, always doing and saying, you know, Connor this year was honest.

He let his frustrations show and he was really honest in a few scrums and said some things that got some headlines.

And so did Leon, right?

And so I can see to some, they would look at that and think, okay, you know, does the captain do this?

What does this signal?

What does this mean?

I think when it comes to this group, they would run through walls for him.

I think he is that highly thought of.

He's absolutely the captain of this team.

He absolutely should be the captain of this team.

With that said, this was an off year.

He showed more frustration this year than I've seen out of him in previous years.

He showed less patience this year than I've seen out of him in previous years.

And he verbalized a lot of that.

So was it a bit of an off year for the entire leadership group?

For sure.
