It was no one really raising their voices, very kind of safe and consistent.

And that was really great.

And I feel very lucky in many ways because of that.

But I think the upshot of it for me is that now when I have conflict in relationships, I find it really tricky.

So I think like if I was younger and I was entering the dating world, I can imagine that to be quite like a tempting thing to do is to have a relationship with someone who won't challenge me.

Is that a fear that we should be having about people forming relationships because they won't learn how to deal with conflict?

Yeah.

Mm-hmm.

Yeah.

Yeah, I guess I think in my situation, it's obviously that I am, it's like because I'm not practiced in conflict, I search for frictionless environments and I'm less likely to take a risk or go to the place that feels uncertain or unfamiliar.

even though I know logically that those are the pathways to growth and to a more awe-inspiring life.

And I'm lucky that I have a partner who kind of pushes me into those areas.

But without her, I'm pretty sure that if I was with someone who was more like me, I would stay very much in my comfort zone.

And I'm sure that if I had an AI partner...

I would feel very comfortable with them not pushing me into those things.
