I spend a lot of my time trying to understand what the world's – knowing I can't, but just how am I –

best preparing my kids for something that I don't understand and what is the most important thing to be teaching them and paying really close attention to what's happening.

I go to a wonderful school, but a lot of me is thinking the most important thing to be teaching them right now is

problem-solving skills and ways of exploring what they're naturally good at in order to make the world better.

I mean, my son's grappling with place value at the moment.

I'm thinking, mate, don't stress too much about place value.

I think there's like in maths, I feel like there'll be much bigger things that will require you at some point.

I feel really confident and this is to, I don't know if it's under the section of hope, but like just something I'm doing right now, which has really helped me is I'm being vastly aware of the fact that I reckon at some point I'll look back on this and go, these are the good old days.

Remember when, you know, we were just learning about AI.

I didn't know much about it.

And remember, there's only a few wars going on.

And remember when, I'm just trying to remember these.

At some point, I reckon there's a chance these will be the good old days.

And I'll be, when I'm with my family and anyone I'm around, I'm just thinking, like, make these good old days as good as possible.
