It can be sometimes good for the creative process to have a little bit of chaos, controlled chaos around you, right?

Did you have that when making Self-Titled, your first album?

Did you feel that pressure?

Did you feel that creative tension?

Or was it... Because I always have a theory, and you can tell me this is the dumbest thing ever, but the first record, first and second for any musical act, it's like the most raw...

what they are and then they have to evolve.

And then it's not saying that there can't be better records or, or different records, but the first one or two is like, that's what, that's their essence before they're famous, before they have, you know, big shows.

yeah i read that you guys signed the uh the largest ever first record contract is that true with electra for like a first time signee they gave you the most money without having they still wanted to put us in a van but they still wanted to put us in a fucking van right right was that a lot of pressure though if you know it's your debut album and you're you're being touted i don't know if there's competition to sign you guys or how that ended up being such a big offer for you

Um, but was there any additional pressure being like, Hey, there's a lot of expectations on you because it's your first album and people are throwing money at you.
