you know like part of what you do is you you end up having to prioritize unfortunately some things or filter some things through and hey i mean i've learned sort of the hard way doing this that you know probably more earlier on like i've i've learned it as i've gone on but you know perhaps being dismissive of something on the surface thinking you know someone might come forward with something and thinking oh perhaps no i don't think that's relevant not realizing that it is really relevant once

I knew this other piece to the puzzle, right?

That didn't come till a little bit later on.

And I've gone, shit, someone came to me with something that sounded similar to that, you know?

And this kind of goes both ways as well.

Like the amount of times people will contact and say, oh, I didn't, I wasn't going to reach out because I know this isn't really, I don't think this is important.

I feel a bit stupid even saying it.

And then I'm like, well, you just tell me what it is and we'll go from there.

And then as soon as they start speaking, I'm like, this is extremely important because you don't know another piece of the puzzle that no, that isn't out there yet.

Right.

And this goes for me and the police, I can tell you that with police,

for the right reasons, they don't share everything they have.

Um, you know, you, you keep some things back so that you're able to corroborate things and know if something lines up, like if, if I release every single little detail, sometimes that, you know, and the same with the police, well, it doesn't allow you to sort of fact check something.

If someone comes in with a new lead, you know, that, so you can say,

what color was that thing or where did that happen?

And if they say the same thing, this other person said without knowing it, of course that's, you know, that's good.

Yeah, no, no, I think you've just covered everything off there.

You're making my job very easy.
