So it was a great opportunity for me.

Yeah, I think it gave me more of an understanding of how you can arrive somewhere and make contacts and, you know, how to kind of conduct yourself and all of that.
But, of course, it was, yeah, it was a bit overwhelming.
And I feel like if I'm advising anyone, I do tell them, like, go gently.
You know, when you start, like, you don't need to push your way into things and you don't need to assume that you understand things.

I think being away, I left Ireland 2014.
I moved, yeah, went to Rwanda.
And then I lived mostly in London for about five years.
And then I lived in Uganda and Sierra Leone.
And now the last two and a half years in Lebanon.
So I think they're used to me not being...
But I got to see them a bit anyway.
I think that the war in Lebanon, that was probably the most frightening just because it was, you know, so there's so many headlines and everything about it.
And actually the book opens with me kind of talking about that and what that experience was like.
And yeah, the fact that everybody, because it was a very stressful experience.
The war has started.
