No, it mostly just depends on the quality of the glass in the first place, on how much light's actually being transmitted through the optic.

Again, my experience on specific, that's a little bit more limited, but if the glass is good enough on one lens to transmit enough light through to where you're not bringing your nods up to look through your tube and then you just see this big black mark in front of you with a dot in the middle of it, if the glass is good on one lens, it's going to be good enough on the other.

That's my estimation anyway.
