So here's where I get to talk about being a night vision nerd.

So, on a rifle like this, a lot of LPVOs will have a night vision settings.

They're utterly useless.

You cannot use night vision with an LPVO.

It is fucking impossible.

End of story.

Anyone who says it can be done, that's like, okay, technically, yes, you can line up your 40mm tube, which is 3 inches off your face, with the eye relief perfectly on your LPVO.

But realistically, it's not going to happen.

Offset dots at a 45 degree, I don't like for passive aiming as much as anything towards the 12 o'clock because you want to get your head up over the gun more so that you are not going to clonk your tubes into the back of your tube.

So this hostile engagement ring has it at like a really high 45 degree.

It works, but it's at a really weird spot for my face.

Fair.

All I want to do with your setup is you should definitely do this.

You should mount those two dots.

It's going to take a while to figure out the spacing so that you can shoot with both eyes open looking through two dots at the same time.

Oh, there's a way.

With enough 3D printing, anything's possible.

for up close shooting inside i don't know fucking 50 yards maybe nothing beats a red dot yeah lpvos can get close but nothing beats the actual like just looking straight through a tube dot or neotech if you want to be a nerd

And you're like, nope, there's no eye relief involved.

There's no, oh, it's slightly 1X.
