It's a 3D-printed housing, and the nut internal to it that the crossbolt threads into is free-spinning right now.
So you try and get it tightened, it gets right up to the point, and then it goes, look, and then it starts all over again.

I bought it through a us night vision, but that has been an excellent little laser.
It's got a V cell illuminator on it.
So illuminating shit after 300 or so yards is no big deal right now.
