So he checks all the boxes for me as the top defenseman in this draft class.
No, for me, it's just the dynamic ability.
I haven't seen that out of Verhoff.
I do think some of that exists and has been hidden and hasn't been utilized because he's playing higher than his age group.
And I do think that after a couple of years in pro, you're going to see that offensive side start to develop in his game or at least him have the confidence to utilize that part of his game more.
So by no means do I think he's just a defensive defenseman.
I just think that when I look at Chase Reed right now, for me, he's a surefire power play one quarterback.
I don't know if Verhoff is that.
Power play two, maybe.
But I don't think he's a power play one guy at the next level.

And I think a quarterback is more important than the trigger man.
So slight edge goes to Chase Reed in that department.
I think the world of this young man.
I think that he is a commander out there.
I think he's the type of guy that you're going to feel really comfortable with if you have to protect the lead, if you need a big stop on the PK.
And potentially if you, if you need to get one in the final couple of minutes, like I just, he's got so much confidence, but it's not like in an arrogant or a swaggy type of way.
It's just, he knows what the job is.
He knows he's competent at doing whatever the job is and he can execute.
