Someone explain the difference between the hammer drill setting, like when you put it on a hammer.

I don't know.
I just use them all until one works.
And then I'm sure I'm using the wrong bit because then you've got a wood, you know, you've got the drill bit for wood and then you've got the drill bit for concrete.
Then you've got the drill bit for go through the metal.
Right.
Yeah, right.
And then I'm drilling the wrong one and all of a sudden the drill's about 3,000 degree hot.
Yeah.
In all sorts.
Well, that's because if you're going through metal or you're going through wood, you've got to have a different bit.
