Yeah.

That's what the South Carolina Supreme Court found this week.

So in a unanimous 5-0 ruling, the five judges wrote that Hill, quote, placed her fingers on the scales of justice.

She denied Murdoch his right to a fair trial by an impartial jury.

And the court describes her conduct as breathtaking, disgraceful and unprecedented in South Carolina.

So she actually pled guilty to misconduct in office, to the obstruction of justice and perjury.

Yeah, she's in big trouble.

So she's facing a very serious punishment.

Her book was pulled from publication because not only was it kind of clouded in all of this misbehaviour, she also plagiarised a lot of the book.

I mean, it just all strikes me as kind of the next season in another documentary.

I mean, this is just crazy.

She also admitted to showing sealed court exhibits to a photographer for the book.

So, I mean, there was a lot of misconduct there that then put the decision itself into jeopardy.

One other thing that the court found in this appeal that there was too much evidence of his financial crimes being spoken about during the process that talked about him stealing from vulnerable people and that wasn't materially relevant to the murder charge.

So that's where it got to.

He successfully appealed this verdict.

Not quite.

So, I mean, those two life sentences are struck, but Murdoch is still serving two consecutive sentences of 40 years and 27 years for the financial crimes.

So he's still behind bars.

He does potentially have a release date without these two life sentences.
