I think when you're up a run and it's guaranteed to have at least that margin going into the ninth inning, the first priority needs to be protecting the lead as opposed to expanding on it.

And so I honestly, I would have let Finney in the game for that reason.

I'm not saying that's the reason they lost the game, although I do think he makes that play at first base.
