I mean, now, what is it, back-to-back years?
It basically has been his whole career that the first halves have just been so under... His starts to the season have been so underwhelming, yet we recognize him as this true superstar in the game.
And it's because of what he's been able to do in the second halves.
And it's like, okay, if you can do that for a full season, we are talking about you as the AL MVP with the defense, with the speed.
If he can hit in the first half like he does every year in the second half, he is that dude.
Yeah.
All right, I'll go next.
I'm taking Bobby Witt Jr.
He probably, I didn't look at the odds, but I would guess that he is probably favored outside of Aaron Judge to win the award.
I mean, let's put the offense aside for a second.
And his offense is incredible.
100th percentile outs above average and sprint speed elite in both areas of the game that maybe are a little bit harder to quantify.
If he can get some swing and miss out of his game, I mean, he led the league in hits two years in a row, so I guess I shouldn't even really say that.
But he led the league in doubles last year, hit 23 home runs last year.
That's why he was not the MVP last year.
But if you watch Bobby Witt Jr.
play, you see how hard he hits the ball.
I mean, this guy is a true superstar in every facet of the game.
And still, again, just like J-Rod, very young.
35 homers out of the sky, not out of the realm of possibility at all.
