I haven't had experience of it, but funny, I've always thought if I got a terminal diagnosis, the first thing I'd start doing is switching accounts and putting my next of kin name on them and stuff like that.
So they it would reduce the administrative burden.
A friend of mine in England died some years ago and a big problem his wife had was his social media accounts.
And he knew he was dying and he didn't give her the passwords.
So a year after he died, I got one of those notices on LinkedIn.
Oh, hi, you haven't been in touch with Chris, we'll say for a while.
Yeah, because he's dead.
So she had a huge problem trying to persuade social media companies.
Yeah.
You know, I always see those financial advice columns and people saying you should have a will.
You need a digital will.
I remember writing about this once.
You need a digital will.
You need to write down all that stuff, give it to somebody.
And so they can take care of all of that when you're gone.
And actually, that's a funny thing as well.
Like we're talking about death.
Why don't people do it?
You know, like that is a basic thing that you should because I could go out, you know, obviously tomorrow and be run over by the proverbial bus.
We really, really, really need to do that stuff.
