And obviously you had some notice, you know, that your wife was dying, but you wouldn't have been in any position to.

You know, go there and start that work, but, um, it's something everyone should do then the other.

So going back to the difference between Ireland and England.

So now I think we may run into a problem with Ireland as we run out of priests time back in the religion thing.

Now there are more and more, um, humanist ceremonies and people are qualifying as celebrants, but.

Even at that, the basics of the Irish that still apply.

There is still the wake, the open coffin, everybody coming, the funeral.

Do you know that those rituals are there?

And maybe my generation will be the last one where the prayers are still inside you.

Hail Queen of Heaven, hail our life, our sweetness and our hope to thee.

We cry for banished children of Eve.

Like it still comes out there.

And when people run out of things to say and don't know what to do,

having those recitations inside you can fill a really important gap.

And all around the world, all around the world, psychologists say the Irish do best.

We stand out.

And then also, I think my husband comes from Northern Ireland, which controversial is English in many ways.

You know, a lot of, you know, traditions and customs and attitudes, you know, do prevail there.

And, um, and I notice that his family and friends don't attend as many funerals as we would.
