So, you know, people would know here in Ireland, if a work colleague's parent dies, most people will go to the funeral.

I think in British society, it's more, it would have to be a close friend or a close relation before you'd actually go.

There are lots of different.

The month's minds are lovely.

They're really, really nice.

So that is, so that is another aspect.

So I think we're very privileged that we're, that we are here in Ireland and that we do deal with it in that way.

So we should be very grateful for that.

Even if, as I say, the lay celebrants are,

Um, you know, start to take over more and more from priests.

the sense of what a funeral should look like is still there.

I don't mind going another few minutes because the other issue that I think that we didn't touch on was the public versus private grief and the public mourning that used to be quite common.

So on the first point you said in your newsletter that, or in the letter that you wrote,

that your wife, you know, had gone through very traumatic treatment, you know, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and, you know, you were saying it's much worse than they ever tell you.

Yeah, yeah.
