I think for all young men and boys, for all humans, we want connection.

That is ultimately what every human being wants is a feeling of connection and belonging.

And when you're a young person who's growing up in a world where you feel like you're disconnected or you feel like you're not... You know, all your connections are pseudo.

They're online.

They're not with real people.

Then you start to look for it, right?

You start to look for ways to connect with people and then there's these grifters who will say things that will make you feel like you're seen.

They'll say, you know, men's mental health is a real battle.

There's a struggle with that.

Then they'll say, you know...

You've got to be able to offer value to people because you don't have it as you are as a man.

You have to prove your value.

You have to earn money.

You can't survive in this world without earning money.

Muscle and good looks will bring you good things.

That's how they sell the message at the beginning.

And any young man thinks about those things.

Even me as a young man, I was like, yeah, for sure.
