And then you move into it and all of a sudden it goes from all of these things that you're looking for, all of these other people, thousands of other people, other boys and men like you who are looking for the same thing and then saying the reason why you don't have it is because women are the problem.
Women are taking everything from you.
Women are getting paid more now and that's costing you.
Women are rejecting you because you're not good looking enough.
Women are not interested in you because you're not proving your value.
And so it moves away from like the center issue, which is connection and belonging and moves towards how do we isolate these boys from the people in their life so that we can continue to sell our products to them and make them believe they'll never be enough without that next product.
We have to get them away from the people that they're seeking connection from.
I think it's about understanding the issue with it, right?
I think a lot of people try and tell them that, like, the manosphere is bad or, like, you know, these guys are misogynists and misogynists hate women.
Like, there's no young boys I've ever worked in an audience with who have said, I hate women.
Ever.
But they have said women shouldn't dress like that because, like, my girlfriend can't dress like that.
They have said that I don't want to date someone who's masculine.
Women shouldn't be muscly.
And they can't join those two dots.
There's a lot of cognitive dissonance there.
And so I just get curious about...
about what that means and i'd be honest with them like you're allowed to have preferences for sure about who you're attracted to there's no problem with that but when you start saying to someone who you're dating stop going to the gym you're not allowed to get build muscle that can create issues because you're now telling them what to do based on how you feel so what do you actually want and what are you feeling and what do you want to talk about
No, not at all.
I think it's because I spend time with young people that I have hope.
