Living kidney donation is another great way to address the shortage.
LifeSource is really in charge of deceased donation, but anything that helps reduce the wait list, you know, we help promote and support.
From what I know, there has been a slight increase in living kidney donation, and I know there's been some legislation that have removed some barriers, allowing people to take off work and still, you know, receive some pay because there is a, you know, significant recovery time.
I think the thing I want everyone to hear is that
you know, organ donation and transplantation is such an incredible, you know, collective process.
I just encourage people to get their information, to reach out to us, to check reputable sources when, you know, finding information.
I don't want misinformation and myths to prevent people from participating.

But don't let those myths prevent you from participating in this process because, you know, it hurts our friends and neighbors and it will reduce even, you know, more people getting that life-saving transplant.
