Yeah, listen, if any of you want to run in an election or become a politician, you guys got to get the Canuck fans on it.
They can mobilize and get things done.
So I think, you know, obviously they did push forward.
And I think that, I don't know, listen, I can't sit here and say with certainty that he's not going to get the job when Canuck fans convinced the organization.
But make no doubt about it.
They heard the voices that the fans were, they heard what the fans were saying the last 24 hours.
Yeah, I mean, Canuck fans, what they really want is a forward thinker, new thinker, somebody who can perhaps move the organization into the future.
They're excited about the idea of an Evan Gold type because he checks a lot of those boxes.
Forward thinker, understands the draft side of things, understands analytics, the business side.
I know Elliott Friedman mentioned Martin Madden Jr., who's somebody that I brought up a few weeks ago as somebody that teams should talk to.
Now I wasn't reporting that he's in the mix, but he fits the exact mold of the type of person you should be talking to at the very least and exploring when you're trying to go into a rebuild.
His track record speaks for itself.
Great talent evaluator, very smart businessman as well.
So I think there are a lot of factors that would want you to name someone like that GM.
I don't know if one of those guys will ultimately be named the GM, but that's the type of candidate Canucks fans are really excited about.
And that's what they really want to see this organization go after.
