And now it's a final pick of the first round, regardless of who wins the Stanley Cup.
Is there a world?
Would you consider something like 41 in DeBrusque or like a pick in DeBrusque for 32?
Would you consider potentially moving the 41st pick in DeBrusque?
Is that a big enough jump?
That's nine spots.
What about... They have three third-round picks.
Would you do the 32nd overall, a third-round pick, and you move the 41st?
They can't trade this year's pick anyways, I don't think.
They're not allowed to trade it anyways.
I think that's the other thing to keep in mind.
But just the idea of, like, can you move and get a first from them?
I just don't see that happening.
in regards to you being able to pull that off.
So I do agree that a first-round pick is a bit of a pipe dream unless you're looking at, can you get a future first, but you're trading a high second this year, and then you get a conditional first-round pick for next season, for instance.
That would be an interesting way to go about it.
Yeah, I just don't know if that's going to be in the cards.
And I think the most realistic avenue for a Jake DeBrusque trade, the high end is probably what the Canucks got for Conor Garland, a second and a third round pick.
I don't know if you're getting anything more than that.
Yeah, they just need somebody that can, you know, it depends on what they need, but potentially someone on the power play and a complimentary wing scorer on the wing.
