Nothing yet official on the Bowen Byram trade, but we do know that he is being traded, it looks like, from the Buffalo Sabres to the Chicago Blackhawks in a deal that includes players, well, prospects and picks.

And the biggest pick looks to be the fourth overall selection.

Yeah, and it's interesting Tony say, he says, you know, it is a reflection of the draft, which to some extent, obviously, and we spoke about this with this draft, that if there is a draft where somebody does move picks, it will be this one.

Not to say it's a bad draft, but it's not considered loaded at the top the way it has been in the past.

And because there's a lack of consensus and there's this group of like six, seven players outside of the first overall that

it doesn't have the same kind of enticing bite as some other drafts have where you feel like you're getting the same caliber player at six or seven or eight as opposed to three.

So that does mitigate some of the value of these higher draft picks.

And maybe this is the year we see trades happen and we're seeing it at least.

And we'll see if any other team in that top five, six range does make a move up and down the draft.
