Matthew, thanks so much for making some time for us.
First of all, is it surreal watching and covering the Sabres back in the playoffs again after so long?
Yeah, and obviously it wasn't as long a drought in Vancouver a couple years ago, but it had been a long time between home playoff games with fans in the building because the pandemic year, of course, they were playing in the bubble.
So the fans were not in the building.
And one thing that became very jarring were the emotional swings in a playoff series.
And when you haven't been a part of it for a while, you kind of forget how despondent you can get when things go against you.
And obviously, Uka Pekalukanen giving up that goal, which was reminiscent of Dan Kluczyk giving up that goal to
Nick Lidstrom, many moons ago here in Vancouver.
How do you think the fan base is dealing with that and the thought of what might be next the rest of the series?
