Because I see and I understand.

I know Drance was talking today about how asking around the combine.

There was some skepticism about the Canucks stomach to stomach a rebuild for a long period of time.

And also the idea of them truly spending money and throwing that weight around overall.

I would say that when I asked about this a while back, and I've asked about it more recently too, it's that, hey, yeah, we're not going to go out there and spend like the Leafs do, but it's not like we're not willing to spend.

I think part of their evaluation is the people they currently have.

And I think as time goes on, and if they say want to add or get rid of somebody that they're going to allow the management team to do so, we do know that they had a pretty...

You know, they drew a pretty hard bargain with RJ.

We know with Manny as well, ends up getting a three-year deal according to Rick Dollywall.

So I think it's fair to wonder, and I think we've seen in the past, there has been a reluctance to pay head coaches a lot of money, a reluctance to pay management types a lot of money as well.

We know that's kind of been the MO.

But then they spent a good deal of money on Rutherford.

They also were willing to pay Rick Tauket more than any coach they've ever paid before.

He didn't take it, obviously.
