In a roundabout way. Yeah. I didn't know what I was doing when I was writing songs. So I remember like, you know, I'm from a very traditional Indian family. Like music was not something that was an option for me. And when I started writing songs, it was literally, we just moved to Austin. I didn't have a bedroom.
I was sleeping in like in the family room and everyone was going to sleep and I couldn't fall asleep. So I just took out my sister's old Yamaha keyboard and I just started like

And it's really funny. I've actually said that to a few people and a friend of mine, a dear, dear friend named Eric Vitro, who's the most fantastic vocal coach on the planet. He works with every every major artist and he's really close to Stamos. So it's been one of my things ever since I made it.

There was one time I had a friend who was mutual friends with Stamos and we were going to all have dinner and Stamos didn't show up. He was stuck on like Glee or one of those shows he was doing. I was so disappointed. And one day randomly I get a phone call from my friend Eric Vitro and I had a really shitty day. And I remember just waiting.

I was doing that thing of like sitting in my driveway, just trying to like get into the house and with a smile on my face because I've got two kids. So just sort of calming myself going through the day. And I had my phone pop since Eric calls. And I was like, OK, it's Eric. I got to pick up. Call. And I go, hey, Eric, how are you? And he goes, hey, man, I have someone who wants to talk to you.

And then a second later, he's like, hey, it's John Stamos. Like, totally, like, everything that went wrong that day went away. And I was like, oh. And he was like, I hear you owe me some royalties. It was brilliant. That's incredible. Yeah. So, yeah, if Uncle Jesse wasn't, if Full House wasn't there, I wouldn't probably have been in the song. I wouldn't have known what I was doing.
