Awesome. Thanks. Yeah, it was, you know, I was pre-internet. So when I started making music, I had a boy band in high school. We called ourselves the Vocal Harmony Group. And I would start like writing songs. And after a while, they would be like, hey, let's just sing some of your songs. And they'd harmonize to my choruses.

It was also around a time when like South by Southwest was sort of this indie music festival. Interesting. And I was living in Austin, but you don't go downtown when you're in high school in Austin. That's like.

And, you know, whether it's calling 96.7 KHFI in Austin and like singing and doing like asking the DJ if I could sing and we would do like sing offs between, you know, me and someone else.

and people would take my tapes and then eventually I'd get kicked out for soliciting. So I'd go back down to the car, change my shirt, I'd put a hat on and go back up again. And I was doing those kinds of things. Every dime I could save was blank cassettes and stamps and envelopes. Like my parents had no idea what I was doing. My grades started like looking horrible.
