Yeah. It's so funny. Me and Ilya talk about that all the time because when we did it, it was, you know, if you remember, it wasn't the biggest hit when it was out. And we were actually really disappointed at the performance of the song again, because we were just used to everything going to like number one on radio and blah, blah, blah. Then Indie like peaked at number seven or eight on radio.

It wasn't like at the time, it wasn't like a massive hit. But what had happened, I guess, when the streaming era really took over, people started streaming it.

And loving it. And that song, you know, we had talked about it with Ariana to do like, I don't know if you remember, we talked about doing like a acapella song. And Ilya went and started, he like layered his vocal of doing like, and then we started jamming on that, trying to like come up with something. It was like, ah. It doesn't work doing an acapella song.

And I remember then he started like, okay, putting like a track together around that. And I remember just thinking, and this is how we approached a lot of songs at the time was like, okay, what haven't we heard before? Like what hasn't, you know, what hasn't Ari done before Whitney Houston or any of these amazing vocals. I've never heard them do like Michael Jackson-y kind of melodies.

And that was the idea was like, okay, let's write something super rhythmic like that over this amazing progression thing that Ilya had. And obviously with Ari's vocal, you can do that. And it just all sort of came together. I remember there was a different-ish verse melody that I had and Max sort of heard it through the walls and came in and he was like, hey, that's great.

It was like a longer phrase. That's something Max is so great at. And something I've learned actually from him is space. Like space is okay in a pop song. It's okay to have space. When you're writing, you want everything to be super active. You know what I mean? All the time. Because when you're writing it, space feels dull. Yeah. when you're in the room and you're singing ideas, right? For sure.
