Should you draft a player based on your need or should you just draft the best player?

What if your biggest need and the best player are there?
I feel like that's an easy question.
You go out and you do it.
But my overall philosophy, if I was a general manager, which I'm not, my overall philosophy would be I'm going to draft the best player available.
I'm not going to necessarily draft based on need because sometimes you've got to figure out is the scheme fit going to work?
Is the overall locker room culture fit, community fit?
Is that something that's going to β
match the standard of what the Broncos need from a player coming into a new situation from the college level.
Now, if you run into the situation where your biggest need and the best player available happen to still be there when you're on the clock or within spitting range of you being able to move up a couple spots, then absolutely, you take that shot.
