euphoric tie and the only reason that this is happening is because that supporting club came on to try and attack the other supporting club The sporting imbalance that is referred to in Rangers' statement isn't anything to do with what happened with the supporters sort of outwith the football I think what Rangers and the previous caller were getting on at is that the sporting imbalance they feel is that if away fans have been inside
If Celtic fans have been inside Ibrox for the league game, that they feel that should be reciprocated because having fans inside the ground is seen as, you know, could be an advantage having fans in there.
What's the ideal outcome for you then, Malcolm?
You don't want to see any away supporters in the ground for this game?
Because it's not the view of Celtic that they don't want any Rangers supporters in the ground, Malcolm.
Their view is that they just don't want a specific supporters group there.
So is your view different to Celtic?
You don't want any Rangers fans in there regardless of who they are?
Because we were in danger of maybe going down a road where it goes back to the fact that there won't be any away allocations at Celtic and Rangers games.
If it happens for this match, you'd imagine that Rangers won't be keen to have...
Celtic fans inside Ibrox in retaliation to that it's been such a long standing subject and argument it's been going on forever it took a lot for the clubs to get back around the table and manage to find that smaller allocation how much of a shame would it be if it ended up going down that road again
What about Scott, who's a Celtic fan in Burnmillock?
is it then up to Rangers because instead of it being you know Scott's talking about the union bears as a whole Rangers will tell you that they have been you know identifying and punishing the individuals that have been involved in events rather than a blanket ban across a full supporter group
And maybe that is a difference in how Celtic and Rangers have been dealing with their ultras groups.
Celtic did have that blanket ban on the Green Brigade, whereas Rangers are more targeting the individuals that have committed crimes.
You look back to the last Old Firm game between the sides and whether they were part of the Union Bears or not, the individuals that entered the pitch, committed crimes, did things that they shouldn't have been doing.
It's a different way that they've both been dealing with their supporters groups, isn't it?
Let's take a break and I'll tell you about this.
