I think it's just a concern that there would be a large number from a supporter group that Celtic feel were responsible or heavy responsible for some of the violence that was seen in the last Old Firm game.
And Celtic will, of course, be wanting to look out for their supporters and anyone else because the scenes that we saw on that day from both sets of supporters, it's important that we don't see that again.
How important is it that the SPFL are now involved?
There is a subcommittee being put in there and that hopefully there can be some sort of middle ground being found.
and take care of Celtic's concerns on this matter and the SPFL must do their job and make sure that Rangers do get a ticket allocation because it would be unfair to have no Rangers fans on the ground Charlie what have your thoughts been over the last few years on the ticket allocation in these matches did it change at all after the cup quarter final do you feel that there should be an away allocation does it make the game better?
01419511025, thank you to Charlie.
Whether it is ticket allocations, whether you want to talk about the actual football, I don't mind that either.
01419511025, we'll speak to you next.
Scott Allen and Hugh Keevans here with me, Andrew McLean on Clyde One, Super Scoreboard.
And it is one of the favourite topics for this part of the world that is dominating the headlines in the past hour or so.
There is a dispute between Celtic and Rangers about the away title.
allocation for the upcoming Old Firm match for a sort of long story short is that Celtic are willing to offer the full allocation to Rangers but they don't want the tickets given to the Union Bears Rangers not agreeing to that at the moment and it's all coming down to the SPFL who are going to
have a subcommittee that both teams are going to be involved in trying to find a solution so any thoughts on that 01419511025 big games this weekend as well looking forward to talking about the football a bit later in the show as well so get your calls in on how you think the post split fixtures are going to kick off this weekend but let's speak to Scott who's a Rangers fan in Falkirk what are you making of it all Scott?
It's not that they don't want any Celtic fans in there Scott, I know that's a sort of differential but it's specifically, I mean they've not named them in their statement but Rangers have, they don't want the tickets given to the Union Bears, they say they are willing to offer Rangers the full allocation, they just don't want it going or any of it going to a particular supporters group.
pitch and provocate with whatever way you want to call it I mean it shouldn't be happening at home or away ground supporters shouldn't be entering the field of play full stop under any circumstances should they Scott?
Yeah Scott what do you make of that side of things because Rangers are saying there would be a sporting imbalance if they didn't get the full allocation that has been there for the league matches this season they feel it would be unfair if they didn't have the same number of supporters as Celtic have had at Ibrox for the league games
Thank you.
To Scott on the line, what about Malcolm, who is a Celtic fan?
What do you think, Malcolm?
Good, thanks, Malcolm.
