I'm frazzled during one of the interviews we have to do where I'm interviewing a person and I'm so frazzled, I'm seeing other things on my list that I'm not able to pay attention as well as I should be able to pay attention.
And this goes on and on throughout the course of the day.
largely because I didn't make the effort to early on in the day put together a list of what I have to do that day.
So today's lesson, and this is true of people that have the level of sort of attention deficit disorder and caffeine intake that I have, but it's really true for everybody.
You really want to start the day with intentionality and clarity about what you're trying to accomplish versus jumping from thing to thing with an amount of frazzlement and frazzled energy that's unhealthy for anybody.
And so the goal is to make yourself less frantic and more frenetic and more focused and more intentional.
And that goes to starting the day with a list versus just
frazzledly running throughout the day, which is one of those days I've had in large part today.

This is Scott Becker with the Becker Private Equity Podcast, the Becker Business Podcast.
Recently, the Becker Private Equity Podcast was ranked the number one podcast in the country for business news podcasts on the Apple ranking.
So really thrilled with that.
But today's discussion is different.
Today's discussion is a special shout out.
We live in a world of business where we're a big believer that your world of business is not built around thousands of people.
It's built around a handful of people.
Over the last few years, the person I've worked with about as close as anybody is an incredible producer, leader, an incredible person named Chanel Bunger, who works with Executive Podcast Solutions.
