And anyway, so here he is in 07 pushing this lie about the EFPs.

And they were trying to do this as a drumbeat to get Bush to attack Iran.

Actually, Dave, it was funny because I remember this.

We joked about it at the time that they sort of forgot all about Iran's illicit secret nuclear weapons program for like half a year or more because now it's all about these EFPs.

And since they're lying and it's a matter of just changing narratives, the truth doesn't keep, you know, the thing they used to say doesn't keep coming up because it's not really there.

Anyway, but as you mentioned, the Pentagon had told Bush in January of 07, they said, listen, we will do the search.

No problem, Mr. President, but we don't want to go to Iran.

Now, the question is, same as now, can America defeat them, like ultimately crush their military and degrade their government forces, potentially even to the point of collapse?
