They're going to start to want to understand it more.
They're going to dig deeper.
And they're going to realize that, you know, it wasn't just a bunch of white people that founded this country.
The indigenous people played a role.
They know the history of this thing.
The reason they were killed is to get rid of the witnesses, right?
The reason there was cultural genocide was to get rid of this information.
But I'm happy to tell people that the indigenous people, they still know the story.
A lot of things have been lost, but a lot has been preserved.
And they're ready to talk.
And what they have to say is amazing, and it's beautiful, and we need to listen.
So that's part of my job.
I know it's part of your job.
And, you know, it's important work.
And
At the end of the day, it's just about the truth.
And sometimes the truth isn't pretty.
We all know that.
But in this case, I think at its core, the truth is beautiful.
And it's amazing.
