And so when it was all said and done and I paid off the artist β
And this was back at a time when the Runestone Museum Board of Directors was challenging to say the least.
Those guys are all gone now.
This is 20-something years ago.
They wouldn't pay the bill.
And I said, well, then I'm keeping the cast.
But I also said to Darwin, I said, Darwin, I will never make casts and sell them.
I will only make casts for people that are worthy or that are doing serious work.
And so the only other cast I made was for Darwin because I figured the family should have one.
And the modifications.
Because, you know, the devil's in the details, right?
Well, the truth, in this case, was in those details.
And it's hard to get that with the casting, you know,
Plaster casting, not plaster, but polycasting.
for eternity yeah for in perpetuity right right which could be the nft that we talked about you know it could be the tokenized asset well i would love nothing more than to see the the the family benefit you know it's not like they're destitute or anything darwin's got a comfortable retirement yep he's a modest guy but he's a beautiful musician he's he's a guitar player and
He just don't see it in him.
His personality doesn't seem like he'd be a guy that rocks out, but he does.
And he's 80.
I think he just turned 83, but he's in great shape.
And so you'll love him.
