Well, old is relative, right?
Well, I know it was there when he got there.
And, you know, Newport was settled.
I think the official date of settlement is 1639 or something like that.
Don't quote me on that.
But this is just a few decades later.
And but we know that it was there.
For a number of reasons.
And just this past Christmas, you know, we talked about the illumination event that happens on the winter solstice at nine o'clock in the morning when the sun is at its lowest point in the year on the winter solstice.
the light of the sun comes through the south window.
It creates a light box.
And as the sun is rising, it moves down and illuminates this beautifully carved egg-shaped keystone.
And it's a light, kind of a buff-colored granite.
And you can see in the photo there, when it hits it, it just... It's like a laser beam.
But...
From an allegorical standpoint, what we have here is the sun, which is typical in mystical circles referred to as a male deity.
And it's going inside the womb of this structure, if you will, and it's illuminating an egg that's implanted inside the womb of this structure.
And...
Remember I told you about the megalithic dimensions of the runestone?
If you measure it diagonally across, it's exactly one megalithic yard.
