Well, this is one of these things where you just have to tip your cap to how good the Colorado Avalanche are, because I think, you know, John Hines has felt pretty good about the way his team's played, right?
Like game one, you know, gets into a track meet, but I think they're kind of impressed by the fact that Colorado was able to
stay with that track meet as long as they could and they felt like they just kind of fell short in the third period and then they think that it was a little bit of a special teams game that that cost them in game two and you know john hines was really talking to us a lot about how he thinks like five on five this series has been right there and then they finally turn the corner in game three and they win the special teams battle and that turns into a win and it starts to sound like everything that the coach is saying
is gospel, right?
Like just needed to get their special teams going, just needed to get their physicality going.
And there you go.
And then you see that version of the Colorado Avalanche who just elevated their game, right?
Like we saw the Minnesota Wild elevate their game, take it to a place.
It hasn't been for them so far, these playoffs in game three.
And then Colorado just comes along and just does the exact same thing in reverse.
And you were talking about it, Kipper.
I do believe the shots are 20 or 21 to 4 at one time.
I think that it was 1-0 for the Wild during that.
But this was one of these games where they were holding on for dear life.
There's just so much depth.
So much talent.
You guys were touching on it before this.
The Colorado Avalanche are just an insanely constructed hockey team that the Minnesota Wilds, who I think are great.
I honestly think when I headed into this series, I thought to myself, whoever comes out of this series, I think is going to go on to win the Stanley Cup.
I think they're both teams.
