And so if you somehow knew that you were going to die in 12 hours, somehow knew that, who would you want to be that day?
I'm guessing you wouldn't be scrolling through Instagram.
I'm guessing you wouldn't be wasting your time hating on people that pissed you off.
I'm guessing you'd be just holding your loved ones close and just being amazed at how beautiful a tree is or I don't know what.
Like it's almost a religious vision of what existence is.
I think it would inspire that.
And so so my question is, like, you don't know that today isn't your last day.
So who do you want to be today?
Because you never know.
So who do you want to be in the world?
And hopefully day after day, you're that person.
And then you don't have to die at the end.
Like what a beautiful way to live.
And that's so it sort of changed me in that sense.
I saw after I finished the book, I read a story about Dostoevsky, the great Russian writer who suffered a mock execution.
