I don't want that to change in the Senate.
That doesn't mean it's not a weird place.
I talked about some of that in my book.
We've got some – being in the Senate is – on occasions it can be deeply weird.
We've got some characters.
Well, I can't speak for the House.
Mike Johnson and Steve Scalise are good friends of mine, so I defer to their good judgment about the House.
In the Senate, we will hold the Senate.
I don't know by how much.
That doesn't mean we're gonna have to work for it.
We're gonna have to work for it every single day.
Here's what I think we could do to make our job easier.
When moms and dads lie down to sleep at night and can't,
They're not lying there worried about or thinking about whether a man can breastfeed.
They're worried about the cost of living.
They're worried about having to sell blood plasma to go to the grocery store, and they're worried about the cost of housing and the cost of insurance, and I could go on and on.
Now, President Trump and the Republicans in Congress, I think, have done a pretty good job of getting inflation down.
from 9% to 3%, but we've got to do more.
And just telling the American people everything's swell, don't believe your own lying checkbooks is not going to get it.
And what I would do if I were king for a day, I would, in running the Senate, I'm not, I would bring, through reconciliation if we have to, every single bill I could think of to lower the cost of living in America.
