Field Yates liked him.

Travis Kelsey's on board, is he?

Not to scout defensive players.

But I would take his word for it to a degree.

I would, too, because I would probably take his word for it over another defensive player who didn't maybe play that kind of position because he goes up against.

He's been playing football for 13 years.

He's seen an edge or two in his day.

He's skiing for an edge or two.

And he's seen the tape on R. Mason Thomas, so he probably knows more about that kind of a judgment than a lot of people would initially think.

I don't think that's the kind of thing he'd say.

For Woods, I think really for both of them, I think they've got to be starters.

I guess with Woods and Thomas, sometimes those are kind of rotational guys.

So I'm not saying week one we're going to have those guys have to be in the starting lineup.

But Woods has got to be in the rotation starting.

He's not 10 snaps a game or 15 snaps a game.

He's got to play, I think, pretty quickly and play often and well.

That starts right there.
